DEVELOP YOUR GAME WITH ECSELL LEARNING
If you’re like most coaches, finding ways to develop and nurture the strengths within your team is always a top priority.
You’ve no doubt gone to your fair share of coaching clinics to learn the x’s and o’s of team excellence. You probably have three-ring binders sitting on your office shelf stuffed with tips, tricks, and resources. And those emails you send to your coaches with inspirational quotes or links to relevant podcasts hopefully provide what they need to further their development.
But even with your own elite mindset and best intentions, it’s hard to know if your approach is actually working unless you have some way to measure your efforts.
That’s where the Ecsell Learning Platform comes into play.
It provides engaging e-learning that’s targeted to your unique coaching strengths and opportunities, so you can focus on the exact activities and behaviors tied directly to your individual Coaching Effect Survey results.
It’s a one-stop-shop for student-athlete development that goes well beyond just podcasts and articles. It’s a learning platform for elite-focused coaches at any stage.
DEVELOPMENT GAME PLAN
Just as you wouldn’t face off against an opponent without having a well thought out game plan, the same can be said when it comes to your own development
The Ecsell Learning Platform is where you put the mindset of adaptability into action. Think of it as the toolkit for knowing how to improve your coaching abilities while providing a clear path towards a more positive student-athlete experience.
Each pathway offers suggested learning plans and modules that contain sets of videos and short quizzes. Even better, we connected the results of your Coaching Effect Report to the learning platform, which cuts out the big “what do I do next?” question.
MENTAL STRENGTH
We believe in mental strength as a model because it signals room for growth. So, that growth mindset is how we’ve structured our resources. We know that these resources are linked to successful outcomes and we even have the data to back it up.
In fact, data tells us that mental work, the “above-the-shoulders” stuff, like visualization improves athletic performance outcomes. That’s why Olympic gold medalist swimmer Michael Phelps spent two hours a day visualizing his race months before each competition. International soccer star Wayne Rooney would lie in bed the night before a game and visualize himself scoring goals to give himself a “memory” before kickoff.
What these athletes understood intrinsically was that by imaging a scene or a moment in their upcoming game, their mind actually settled in to that feeling of success. With visualization, minds and bodies are then trained to actually perform the skill imagined.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Dr. Larry Widman, a best-selling author and High Performance Sports Psychologist, to provide your team with practical and actionable visualization techniques. Developing a strong mental game can pay immeasurable dividends for student-athletes especially when confronted with challenges like a batting slump or an otherwise unexplainable case of the “yips.”
These building blocks can provide student-athletes the ability to persevere and overcome mental obstacles by increasing their confidence, concentration, composure, and commitment. In addition, because we believe in practical resources, we’ve designed our elite mindset materials to be straightforward and easy to share with your team.
THE POWER OF COMMUNITY
We believe in a community where a growth mindset is a primary focus. With our discover, coach, and share capabilities, you can trade your favorite tricks, podcasts, and other resources with fellow Ecsell Sports client coaches across the United States.
This is one of the most appreciated components of the platform because not only will you have the chance to inspire and influence others, but you’ll also receive plenty of sage information that can help transform your team.
And that is a recipe for long term success.
